Film North, Huntsville International Film Festival is Canada's newest film festival.
Our mission is to create a film festival of the highest excellence, open to Canadian and
International filmmakers, with a changing annual theme. Discussion forums will
reflect current issues and cinematic impact.
Th Inaugural Film North theme for 2010 is 'The Environment - One Word, One
World'. The Film North Film Alliance and Award for Best International Movie is founded here.
The Film North 'Bull's Eye Filmmaker Award' is founded here. The 'Under The
Stars' open air screening is founded here. Our objective is to link our community to
the world through cinema.
