2010 theme announcement
Film North will choose a different theme each year. In our Inaugural Year of 2010, we have chosen to showcase films
with an ENVIRONMENTAL THEME.
ENVIRONMENT - ONE WORD, ONE WORLD
Our world is changing on many levels. The most common universal concern is the
environment. Nature and mankind have been co-existing throughout the ages in a
push pull of strengths and weaknesses, sharing and inflicting the consequences of
vulnerabilities under the guise of Mother Nature and Civilization.
It is appropriate for Film North to screen the year's best contributions to this thought
provoking and critical subject.
